ASIDE FROM BEING AN ELITE ATHLETE, THÉO HAS ALSO BECOME A ROLE MODEL, THANKS TO HIS PERSONALITY AND THE POSITIVE IMAGE HE PROJECTS. AS A RESULT, HE IS INCREASINGLY IN DEMAND WITH THE MEDIA, EVENT ORGANISERS, CHARITIES AND BRANDS.

The Madiba Challenge

Theo and the TV host Ismaël Khelifa have embarked on an athletic, human and inclusive adventure which will take place in April 2024 in the city of Cape Town (South Africa). The Madiba Challenge is an unprecedented sportive challenge : swimming 30km in open water off the coast of Cape Town and cycling 100km alongside French and South African young people involved in the project.

A strong solidarity initiative the township of Langa where, involving the construction of a sports and artistic facility, as well as the implementation of an educational and supportive program. This project involves a dedicated team working for over 2 years, with the firm intention of promoting the lasting legacy of this unprecedented challenge.

DEFI CORONDA(CORONDA CHALLENGE)

In November 2022, Theo became the first disabled athlete to complete the famous 57 km open water swimming race between Santa Fe and Coronda in Argentina. An unprecedented result that makes him go down in the history of this race, one of the 3 most difficult open water swimming races in the world.

DÉFI TITICACA(TITICACA CHALLENGE)

In November 2021, Théo swam unassisted across Lake Titicaca, a 108km journey made in frigid 12C waters at 3,800 metres above sea level, and with only Olympic silver medallist Malia Metella and environmental adventurer Matthieu Witvoet for company.

Half Ironmandes Sables d’Olonne

In early September 2020, Théo became the first quadruple-amputee to complete a half Ironman (1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21.1km run), a feat he achieved in six hours and a little over 50 minutes and captured for posterity by the team at Stade 2.
