Having had all four limbs amputated due to meningitis at the age of 6, Théo Curin joined the French Paralympic Swimming Centre in Vichy at the age of 13. He quickly became one of the great French hopes for paralympic swimming and took part in the Paralympic Games at the age of 16 (the youngest member of the French delegation).

Théo won the title of double Vice-World Champion in 2017 and won the bronze medal in the 200m freestyle at the World Championships in London in September 2019.

In 2020, following problems in his disability category, he decided to leave the pools to launch his own sporting challenges.

Alongside his new adventures, Théo is a speaker and TV/Radio host. He has been on the airwaves of the France Télévision Group and Radio France for several years.

For 1 year, he was in charge of the Théo le Taxi column in the Aux Jeux Citoyens program, a daily show dedicated to the Paris 2024 Games on France 3.

Today, he hosts the daily show Slam on France 3, and presents the program "T'es Au Top" on France 4.
