World Meningitis Day

On the occasion of World Meningitis Day, Theo supports this fight alongside Sanofi because today each new case is one case too many !

HIS NEW CHALLENGE :DÉFI CORONDA

Théo will take part mid-November in the famous open water swimming race, the Santa Fe-Coronda in Argentina. He will be the first disabled athlete to line up for this 57 km aquatic marathon. He is always looking for financial partners.

THE THÉO CURINCOLLECTION

The first Lacoste collection designed and created by a Para-athlete. Lacoste teamed up with Théo to create its very first collection bearing the name of a Para-athlete. Designed for both the non-disabled and people with disabilities, the collection features a polo, sleeveless parka, T-shirt, sweatshirt and a cap and comes in a range of colours. Théo added his life mottos to the T-shirt: “Follow your dream”, “Keep smiling” and “Your difference is a strength”. “The fact that a brand like Lacoste has asked me to take part in a collaboration like this shows that things are continuing to move in the right direction,” said Théo. From the logo to all the pieces, each item in the collection is inspired by his everyday life. The collection is now available at Lacoste.com and Lacoste stores.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY: LA CHANCE DE MA VIE

Théo’s autobiography, La Chance de ma Vie, was published by Éditions Flammarion on 16 March 2022. The book sees Théo tell the story of his life and career, from the illness he suffered at the age of six to his sporting exploits, his film, TV and radio ventures, and his many dreams and projects.

DÉFI TITICACA(TITICACA CHALLENGE)

In November 2021, Théo swam unassisted across Lake Titicaca, a 108km journey made in frigid 12C waters at 3,800 metres above sea level, and with only Olympic silver medallist Malia Metella and environmental adventurer Matthieu Witvoet for company.

LGBT AWARENESSCAMPAIGN

Théo appeared in a video to promote a more inclusive society as part of a campaign run by the French Ministry of Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunity.

Half Ironmandes Sables d’Olonne

In early September 2020, Théo became the first quadruple-amputee to complete a half Ironman (1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21.1km run), a feat he achieved in six hours and a little over 50 minutes and captured for posterity by the team at Stade 2.
